Affiliate programme terms

1. The programme

These terms (version 2026-11-01) govern participation in the RacingAPI.net affiliate programme. Participation requires a RacingAPI.net account and written approval by an administrator. We may decline any application.

2. Commission

Approved affiliates earn 20% of eligible paid subscription revenue from referred accounts, unless a different rate is agreed and shown in your dashboard. Rate changes apply to future referrals only.

Commission is lifetime: eligible paid subscription invoices from referred accounts continue earning commission without a fixed expiry, including referrals made before this update. Free trials and zero-value invoices earn no commission. VAT is not added to our prices and none is included in eligible revenue.

3. Attribution

A referral is attributed when a visitor follows your link, consents to referral tracking, and creates a new account within 30 days. The first consented affiliate link wins. Existing customers and self-referrals, including accounts you own or control, are excluded.

4. Holds, refunds and reversals

Each commission is held for 30 days after the invoice is paid. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes reduce or reverse the related commission, including after payment, by offset against later earnings.

5. Payouts

You may request a payout once cleared commissions total at least £50. Payments are made manually on the last working day of each month. Payments are sent by bank transfer to the bank details you provide in your affiliate dashboard, which are stored encrypted and may not be changed while a payout request is open. The contact email on your profile is used for communications, not as a payment destination. Recording a payout as paid in the dashboard reflects a payment already sent; it does not itself transfer money.

6. Conduct

You must clearly disclose the affiliate relationship wherever you promote RacingAPI.net. You must not send spam, make misleading claims about data, results or profits, bid on RacingAPI.net brand keywords in paid search, or impersonate RacingAPI.net.

You must not resell, redistribute or share any data obtained through the programme or the API.

7. Tax

You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on commission you receive.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end participation for breach of these terms or suspected fraud. Accrued valid commissions are honoured, subject to fraud checks and reversals under section 4.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The version date above identifies the current terms; material changes are notified to approved affiliates.
